The Mill 04:24
lyrics

The Mill Point to the water Point to the land There's no beginning There is no end Bear me a witness To calm and to storms To sadness and triumph To coming back home Oh make it turn again Help make it turn again Birds fly in circles Greeting the sea Their songs fill the air As they pass over me Point to the water Point to the land There's no beginning There is no end Oh make it turn again Help make it turn again

Fish Out Of Water 04:11
lyrics
buy track
After all these years It's the same old fears That freeze you from inside And there is no excuse For the time that you lose And all the dreams you hide Fish out of water Washed up on the beach Longing for the ocean So close yet out of reach How did you even get here Gasping for air? Sails on the horizon Does anybody care? All the summer days They just went away Like all your fair-weather friends How they used to cheer When the way was clear Now you're playing to empty stands Fish out of water Driftwood on the shore Every piece a story Echoes evermore Fish out of water Drying in the sun People passing by No one stops or turns Fish out of water King without a crown In the land of the blind There's a rumor going round Fish out of water Can you hear the sirens sing? Hold on just a little longer See, the tide is coming in

The World That I See 05:28
lyrics

The world that I see Seems so different now The wind in the trees Sings a different song And if only I could hold it I could keep it Just for a while Something so pure Something so precious Like a dream come to life The world that I see Is so beautiful Sublime, painted in hues Of hope and grace And if only I could hold it I could keep it Just for a while Something so pure Something so precious Like a dream come to life

about

"Malers Hüs" picks up where "Biike" left off – like its predecessor, "Malers Hüs" has its origins on Föhr, with three songs and five instrumentals inspired by the tranquil surroundings of the wintry North Sea island.

However unlike Biike's electronic production, "Malers Hüs" combines Schall und Stille's trademark electronic textures with acoustic and operatic elements, courtesy of guest musicians MyLoFy (guitars, bass), Susanne Balg (vocals) and Andrea Hartenfeller (vocals, alto recorder); the result is a new organic sound that creates a world of its own.
